THE Government squandered a staggering £200 million of British taxpayer money on a regime that allegedly skewed elections, it has been revealed.
Critics demanded that the Tories withdraw aid money given to Tanzania after the country was accused of rigging a poll on the island of Zanzibar.
The election on the East African island was reportedly boycotted by the opposition, leading the ruling party to win 91 per cent of the vote.
